Small Town Girl, Big Dreams

Morgan grew up in a small rural town in Northern California and came to Southern California to study at Biola University. She thought Theatre Arts was her calling, as the visual arts were more of her hobby, until she realized that painting was where her heart was all along. It only took a full degree, in a whole different field, to get her to understand what God wanted her to do.

She moved to Newport Beach, CA to live the coastal lifestyle and pursue art, but didn’t realize what the future held. At first she thought that maybe teaching art would be what helped to have a stable career in art. She worked as a high school art teacher in Whitter, CA, and did art shows at local coffee shops on the weekends to make extra money.

That is when tattooing slowly crept into her field of vision and completely changed her art career trajectory. In seven years time, she quit teaching, apprenticed at a local tattoo shop, built a clientele, started two thriving tattoo studios, and is now making more time for where it all began; painting.
